Trump is mad bc he wants something from his legal team they simply can not deliver: he wants them to make him look innocent. Even the most talented legal help in the world using the most perverted rules not accomplish task bc Trump's crime was done w so much hubris that despite
claims of "blanket executive immunity" and what can only be called partisan control of Justice and State there is so much evidence bc the Admin committed their crime in broad daylight, proudly, w/o shame. And forced loyal partisan Rs and life-long civil servants who never engage
in politics to blow whistles and consult attorneys. + aid that an entire other institution was involved in. Trump's acquittal via senate majority is a sure thing no matter how damning the senate trial is. And no matter how damning the senate trial is, it would be infinitely MORE
damning if the goal was the pursuit of truth & protection of the institution of the presidency & Constitution. But he can not have what he wants, which is to have done this obvious perversion of the presidency and then make everyone believe it never happened. Keep in mind he has
convinced himself of this fairy tale story in which there is no issue with what he did and an alternative world in which the release of the transcript exonerated him. He just laid this out at Davos. He recounts an entire fantasy of how everything played out. He has gaslit himself
and can't understand why the rest of us can't by into the fantasy too.
