Pls read thread to know how health ministry bureaucracy killed a child eligible for financial assistance for treatment. Indian Express & TOI wrote about it. So they can't claim they didn't know. They ignored and let the kid die like many others in similar situation who have died.
Sept 22, 2019- This is the first story by Astha Saxena in Indian Express. Still health ministry refused to intervene.

Dec 22, 2019- TOI wrote about two boys with BPL cards eligible for financial assistance but refused help because their families were in the Ayushman database. Health ministry babus still refused to intervene and help them and others like them.
Advocate Gaurav Bansal filed on behalf of one of the boys and Delhi High Court ordered AIIMS to start treatment immediately and asked health ministry to pay. Health ministry bureaucracy still refused to help such patients caught in red tape even as patients died waiting for help.
AIIMS doctors and medical superintendent have repeatedly written to health ministry telling them of poor patients who could not get financial help because of a bureaucratic tangle. Ministry still refused to help. Why are people being punished by being added to Ayushman database?

MCI medical college faculty database has 2.6 lakh names

India has at best 10 lakh docs, around 4 lakh of them post-graduates
At 2.6 lakh, they would be over a quarter of all docs and above 60% of PGs
Database also has cases of same person listed as faculty in up to four colleges
Database has about 12,000 faculty members whose names figure in more than one medical college, a practice that is not allowed. In most cases, spelling of name is altered, or initials expanded or order of first name, middle name and surname reshuffled. Are they trying to hide?

Not just pvt colleges are commercializing medical education, some state govts too have joined the bandwagon in the name of making colleges self-financing. So, 3%-15% seats are set aside for NRIs and some even have “management quotas”.

Most states claim the quota is to mobilise funds for maintenance and infrastructure, something that would earlier have come from the health budget.

-25 marks, several zero and single digit mark scorers now doing MBBS. This is the MERIT-BASED admission that NEET claims to have achieved?
Neither Medical Counselling Committee nor Medical Council of India make the NEET score, rank, percentile and individual subject marks scored by students admitted each year public for fear of this farce being exposed. Why not publish this data every year?
Elementary maths shows that a person marking answers at random is likely to end up with about one-fourth of answers right and the other three-fourths wrong. That means a score of about 10 out of 180 (11x4 for the right answers minus 34 for the wrong ones).

#Thread: Thousands of families in MP fear submergence of their homes after the Centre has forced the filling up of the Sardar Sarovar Dam to its full capacity. The Centre was aware of families living in the submergence area. Some pictures to show the ground reality. 1/9
Since 2014, the Centre has claimed that all families in the submergence zone have been rehabilitated. However, a letter from the chief secretary of Madhya Pradesh to the Narmada Control Authority in May 2019 said that at least 6k families still live in the submergence area. 2/9
The Centre ignored this & approved the Gujarat govt’s request to fill the dam to test its capacity. As the dam started to fill up and flood villages, the MP govt set up camps to assess the no. of people awaiting rehabilitation while the local authorities evacuated the people. 3/9

The border tensions between India & China escalated when there was a face-off between soldiers of the Indian Army & Chinese Army in Ladakh. The incident took place at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) near the northern bank of the Pangong Tso Lake on Wednesday, ANI agency said.
"There was a face-off between the two armies but it got over after the delegation-level talks between two sides. The face-off is over now and it had de-escalated and disengaged fully after delegation-level talks yesterday," ANI reported quoting the Indian Army on Thursday.

Taking money in this movement can hurt a person's credibility because people will start to view them as a business. Reaching out can then be viewed as marketing. Shares, likes, hits and views are then looked at as gains.
