Sen. FISCHER: “It doesn’t take a subpoena to put out a statement. If Ambassador Bolton has something to say he should do that.”
GRAHAM sounded more open today to a Hunter Biden subpoena than he has before. He says “I don’t want to add to the record” of the trial, but if he ultimately does decide to, he wants record to “be complete.”
RON JOHNSON says “My guess is John Bolton tells the truth.” But he calls the leak “exquisite timing” and says he still wants to hear full WH case.
Sen. KENNEDY says he wouldn’t “bet my house” on Bolton’s credibility. Says everyone should “pop a Zoloft, take their meds” and wait for White House to present.

RAND says he intends to read on the Senate floor this AM the question that Chief Justice Roberts wouldn't read the other day.
And he just did it, including putting the text of the queston — which includes the name of the alleged whistleblower — on a placard alongside him.
NEW: Rand Paul used his final impeachment speech to name the person alleged to be the whistleblower on the Senate floor.

MURKOWSKI: “I cannot vote to convict.”

She has harsh words for everyone, including Trump, but says House process was “rotten.” She also says she decided to vote against witnesses because she didn’t want to see a tie vote result in attacks on Roberts.
Bottom line, Murkowski says a lot of extraneous things to the case influenced her vote: Letters sent by leaders, media coverage, concerns about trust in the courts.

She seems to back the factual case the House presented. But says she couldn’t convict because of process.
NOTABLE: The two senators considered ‘swing’ votes — who have called for acquittal — haven’t challenged the House’a factual case on Ukraine. Alexander said it was proven. Murkowski said Trump degraded his office for political reasons.

2. You will not believe what Webb goes thru in this one. He goes into detail about how John Bolton is now reminding all of his co conspirators of all of the questionable and possibly illegal side deals they were involved in. Oh and Bolton and some others sold missies to Iran!
3. Also he claims that bolton would be a good witness and poses absolutely zero threat the President Trump.

Of course there is more detail about Hunter Biden’s illegal schemes, gun running this time. Supposedly working with Patrick Ho, a Chinese business tycoon.

Since this will come up at the #DemDebate, I want to explain her attack on #Bernie.

When CNN leaked the story, Warren could have said: "We're friends and he was referring to the challenges women candidates face. I won't grace these leaks."

Instead...
...Warren's campaign put out a statement that effectively calls #Bernie sexist and then claims to want to move on.

The net effect is to try to damage the leading progressive in the race, which gives a big boost to the establishment wing.

Now why on earth would she do that?
People who follow me know how dedicated I am to fighting sexism. It was everything I did in 2016 and I was mocked and smeared for it when I defended Hillary.

But this isn't about sexism. It's about the incredibly questionable timing of lobbing this out there as #Bernie surges.

Critical point here is that the MSM is claiming that #Sanders "came within a handful of votes" of #HillaryClinton, when he lost in a landslide of 4M votes, 1k pledged delegates (not SDs) and a dozen states.

This false narrative harms #Sanders--it's meant to highlight how badly he's doing in 2020 and prop up #Biden. But Sanders is actually doing better than in 2016. There are just more players. And Biden is being replaced by a younger centrist, #Buttigieg.
