Just putting this out there: If you need a new roof, really take a look at an IB roof. It's like a single sheet of PVC. Lasts a long time, very insulating Is white, so helps climate.
They last 20+ years, as long or longer than an conventional roof and since there are no real seams, no leaks.
Put one on almost 5 years ago (i was reminded, as I called them to get a quote for solar) and it cut our heat bills by 30% and draftiness waaaaay down. (1896 building, but still.)

Interesting that the Nor-Cal contingent, perhaps because the housing crisis is even more acute here, mostly came to support. Resistance came from LA. Some well-intended if IMHO misguided, but some decidedly not.

Detailed reporting out of who is voting which way and why is key.

What if @uber and @lyft chose to/were made to allow riders to choose hybrid or EV vehicles, and even gave credit to riders and drivers who took/drove them?
@Uber @lyft That seems an eminently possibly corporate or city/state policy, would speed the greater fleet turnover to EV, etc.
@Uber @lyft In fact, cities could mandate that @uber and @lyft help provide charging stations for those drivers/general public.

This is a terrible take. And a take built on thinking that the media and the media of today are anything like the media of yesteryear, when it only worked for powerful men.
I cannot believe--wait, yes I can--that a former LAT journalist and media CEO would say that "sharing an old story" that challenges a one-sided narrative is a bad thing for a journalist to do EVER.

It's literally our job. Not to succor the powerful and their fans.
You know what "out of touch" is? Thinking that women are going to put up with covering for rapists and those who profit because of them. No.

2) Greta says capitalism is the problem when its driven down pollution by subbing gas for oil/coal, driven innovation lowering solar, wind, battery & other alt costs.

🚨New housing stats - woo hoo!🚨 LFS data combined with @MHCLG EPC data suggests the surplus housing stock grew strongly again last year to 1.24 million dwellings. Up from 660k in 1996. On latest data it'll probably rise again in 2019-20...
LFS suggests +131k households in England this year than last, but single years are bumpy. Average of +178k over past 5 years.

So for comparison:
@ONS's revised household projections of 160-170k ✅
Last year's supply of ~240k ✅
Government's housing supply target of 300k ❌🚕
But you all know it's not about volumes, right? No, we need to look at prices!

[1/10] Ministers must strengthen policy on adaptation & put resources in place to drive action to prepare for climate impacts in #England. Our report finds that support services/funding have been eroded over past 10yrs & latest National Adaptation Programme is not strong enough.
[2/10] There are many examples of dedicated officials+organisations doing great work to try to build resilience to #climate impacts. But a better, strategic national framework to underpin and drive action on the ground is needed. Piecemeal action does not match the scale of risk.

The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.
