Kudlow was asked by @HallieJackson whether the White House was considering asking airlines not to fly to the U.S. from China.
He waffled a bit. He said some airlines are doing so voluntarily, and acknowledged ongoing discussions.

"Whether we choose to go beyond that, I don't know. The matter is under discussion everyday, multiple meetings on it, we're just following this as carefully as I can. It is principally a Chinese problem at the moment," Kudlow said.

Kudlow was quick to wave off a question about how, if at all, this links to U.S.-China trade talks, or other tensions.

Trump, earlier today, said the U.S.-China relationship is terrific.
"We're very much involved with them, right now, on the virus that’s going around. We're working very closely. I spoke to President Xi. We're working very closely with China," Trump said.

But: I'm told that Trump wasn't referring to a recent discussion. The last time Trump and Xi spoke was in December, one source said.
