The streets of Salem, OR are going to be almost entirely shut down on Thursday by about 1000 logging trucks coming to protest Oregon's climate change bill. They did this last summer as well, when they were joined by right wing militia members, like the owner of this car. 
To follow the logic here, protestors on foot who disrupt traffic deserve to be run down. Protestors in enormous trucks who disrupt traffic, are cool cool, because timber and patriotism.

This is what the main artery of Salem looked like for almost the entire day the last time this happened. Almost the entire city was brought to a standstill.
Here's a thread on the grass roots organization that put that rally together. It was organized only 3 weeks before the rally and funded largely, coincidentally I'm sure, by the right wing CEO of an Oregon timber company.
