You can draw a direct and clear line between a man as moral and principled and respectful and kind as Mitt Romney being smeared by Democrats and their dishonest hack media, and the rise of Donald Trump who has no decorum and gives no shits about anything other than what he wants

The party was not going to throw another kind Mormon grandpa into the meat grinder of the Democratic-Media Complex. They found the biggest, loudest asshole they could find, one with no respect for precedent or decorum or morality, to get revenge. Welcome to the world you built.
