So yesterday I was at the Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur, #Pakistan via the Kartarpur Corridor. This photo thread is about my journey to Kartarpur.

The nearest town to reach Kartarpur Corridor from #India is Dera Baba Nanak which is 2km from the border. Reached here by bus after a 1:30 hrs journey.

Since it was just 2km, I walked from Dera Baba Nanak to the Border terminal. On the way a couple of BSF check posts. Got the first glimpse of Pakistan flag and this is the terminal building.

After immigration, escorted to the border by the BSF in golf car till the zero line (wish I could walk till the border) Excitement was building up !

In #Cricket the line belongs to the umpire. But here at the Zero Line, it doesn't belong to anyone. Off my bucket list, crossing the border on foot and walking over to Pakistan !

Warm welcome by the Pakistani Security forces. Wanted to walk to the terminal, but again was escorted till there. The feeling was surreal.

The magical, soulful and surreal Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur 🙏🏼 Shining white in glory, the gurudwara is pure bliss. Had a good time with the darshan before making new friends across the border !

When at a Gurudwara, you simply cannot miss out on Langar. Delicious dal, roti & chawal with people from both countries done together.

Very clean, hygienic and well maintained.

There's also a small market next to the Gurudwara complex. From dresses to handicrafts to #food, there's everything there. I shopped for a lot of food items which aren't available here.

And that was my shopping loot from Pakistan. Biscuits, cakes, chips and beverages. Also the Multani Halwa which I found to be yumm !

Had a wonderful time with the darshan, meeting and making new friends. It was around sunset and it was time to head back home. This time around I did walk my way home 😇
