DOJ employees have asked the agency's Inspector General to look into a $530,000 anti-trafficking grant to a group called Hookers for Jesus.

The employees were concerned that DOJ skipped over more qualified grant recipients. Also, Hookers for Jesus appeared to have a policy of requiring that the women it helped participate in religious activities.

@SarahNLynch DOJ employees also asked the Inspector General to review a grant to a group run by the daughter of a prominent S.C. Republican who was a delegate for Trump at the 2016 convention. The group, which beat out better-qualified applicants, is run out of her parents' mansion.
