Number of votes @BernieSanders won in New Hampshire in 2016: 152,193

Number of votes @BernieSanders is currently tracking on winning tonight in New Hampshire: 52,930
From the start of the campaign, Sanders has been arguing that he can expand his base of support. He has, in some important ways. But these numbers—like the numbers out of Iowa—mean a lot of people who voted for him in 2016 chose not to vote for him again this year.
Also notable: Sanders and Warren combined in New Hampshire were about 36% of the vote. Buttigieg, Klobuchar and Biden combined were about 55% of the vote.
With final results in, Sanders had 73,470 votes — winning more votes for the second state in a row, but bringing his total in at just under half of his 2016 vote, and coming out with the same delegate count in New Hampshire as Buttigieg and Klobuchar.

Looks like @marwilliamson’s campaign has shared its email list with the Williamson Institute, which is using it to promote a sale on seminars “to invoke the romantic mysteries, create a career that matters, divinely align your body and soul, or focus on another area of your life“
Just asked @marwilliamson at Iowa State Fair for an explanation. “A mistake was made with one of the vendors,” she said.

How did a Williamson Institute vendor get her campaign list? Wouldn’t answer.

Are you profiting from this campaign? I asked. “Absolutely not.”

Some courses:
Williamson has said her campaign would be putting out a statement today to explain what happened - she has not.

A spokeswoman also told me directly earlier she’d be providing an explanation for what happened - that hasn’t happened either.

@YouGovUS We had YouGov ask over 2,000 Democratic voters to rank all the 2020 candidates over the past month. We used those responses to simulate ranked-choice voting in the primary.

How does RCV work, you ask? Just a reminder....

1. Did someone win a majority of the vote? If yes, they win. If not....
2. Anyone who listed the last-place candidate gets their votes redistributed to their next-ranked option.
3. Re-tally the votes and repeat 1-2 until someone gets a majority.

I care if we all lose. I'm objective.
