I've mentioned this before, but Trump really is the perfect illustration of what would happen if Eric Cartman from South Park became president.

Exploiting hate to rally supporters, seeking revenge on anyone who questions him, and running with any conspiracy theory he hears.

Trump early on picked up on the anger about illegal immigrants from many in the Republican party, and used that to launch a platform by calling them rapists, monsters, and that he'd build a wall to keep them out.

Cartman, of course, has disparaged Mexicans often on South Park.

Donald Trump loves to exploit Christianity to build his base, yet there's no reason to think Trump believes or cares about any of it.

Eric Cartman has often exploited Christianity and religion for fame and fortune as well - including creating a Christian rock band to win a bet.

There are constant stories about how Donald Trump can't pay attention during meetings and has absolutely no empathy for others.

Eric Cartman couldn't even deal with sitting through a funeral, even though he would later be given a million dollars to buy a theme park with.

Donald Trump constantly believes whatever he does is "perfect" and lawful because it's him doing it.

Eric Cartman also uses any authority he receives to abuse it for his own good, whether it's being a police officer or trying to raise up the Confederate army again.

Donald Trump runs with almost any conspiracy theory he sees on Fox and Friends, Hannity, or OANN... when they go against people he considers enemies.

Eric Cartman repeatedly chases conspiracy theories if they can take down his friends/enemies, no matter how insane they might be.

There are plenty more examples of where Donald Trump is a real life version of Eric Cartman, but since South Park has been discussed on Twitter today I couldn't help but post some examples of our own #PresidentCartman.

Cartman is one of the all time great TV characters, btw.
