This story is outrageous & unacceptable. But what breaks my heart is this: “Butler had always known there was a possibility that he could be targeted by police because he is black & was taught by his father to comply with officers if that ever happened.” nbcnews.com/news/us-news/b…
Too many families of color have to give their children this advice. Changing this & ending explicit & implicit bias in law enforcement & across the criminal justice is one of the key civil rights challenges we face.
Also, the Trump DOJ’s retreat from using consent decrees to address civil rights violations by law enforcement is a mistake the next Attorney General must correct.

The claim was made in court by Assange’s Barrister. The core of their code of conduct requires: “you must not knowingly or recklessly mislead or attempt to mislead the court.” That includes not making a submission or representation which you know is untrue or misleading.
A friend who is also a barrister tells me Assange’s barrister is a QC (Queen’s Counsel), or silk, which means he’s senior and well respected. See qcappointments.org

Kravis’ withdrawal notice, unlike Zelenski’s, specifies he’s resigned from DOJ. He put his career & livelihood on the line. Prosecutors don’t do that lightly. Here, it’s being done to say the rule of law is being trampled by Trump & Barr.
My error, Zelinsky too has resigned from DOJ, which he notes in the footnote.
A friend pointed out @KenDilanianNBC has confirmed he is resigning from work in the DC US Attys office, not Maryland. That’s very interesting.

Trump is now relitigating the Mueller Report, taking a victory lap, acting petty, belittling Democrats for doing what they thought was right, further dividing the country. No Susan Collins, he didn’t learn anything from impeachment.
Now praising McConnell for doing a “fantastic job,” which is a new way of saying, keeping relevant evidence of guilt out of the impeachment trial & violating basic American principles of justice.
It makes me profoundly sad that our country is at a point where this buffoon is loudly applauded by his party for making this type of comments. Publicly rewarding jurors who voted for him. We have work to do, friends. Lots of work.

When the elephant started probing with its trunk, seeking food, Abraham pushed his son to front.

Next guy Moses, when he approached, elephant lifted up its head & trunk.
Moses reached its leg, declared it is solid, straight like pillar & not flexible. He issued commandments, rigid, inflexible & hard as elephant hide.

Until now, the only SEO space where AMP was kind of "mandatory" was on news: if you want to appear on the "Top stories" box, you kind of need to have your articles to use AMP. You can appear there withouth AMP, but you don't get the same visual benefits #AMP #SEO .
Now Google is bringing "Stories" (like Instagram Stories, Snapchat Stories, etc.) to search results. They just announced it at #ampconf (see ) #AMP #SEO
This means that for certain kind of queries (by now: travel, and later also gaming, movies, tv and fashion) the first result will get another "special box" called "Visual Stories" where you can only appear using not only AMP, but AMP stories #AMP #SEO
