This 6-year-old was held at a mental health facility for 2 days and reportedly sedated without her mother’s permission after allegedly having a ‘tantrum’ at school

This is OUTRAGEOUS! SHE IS 6!

This isn't an isolated incident. Last year orlando police arrested a 6-year-old Black girl for "throwing a tantrum" in her first-grade class.

Arrested her in handcuffs, put her in the back of a police car, took her mugshot, and fingerprinted her.

The officer is on PAID leave while they take at least a week to decide whether or not almost killing a black child is grounds for termination

When I was in nursery, a P1 teacher at the attached primary school said I should go to a “less academic” primary because I “wouldn’t pass the 11+”. Aside from the 11+ being awful and it’s absurd that you’d know how a 4 year old would score in 7 years...

fuck you, I’m doing a PhD
(Also got an A on the 11+, having left that primary school in P2 because they refused to give me extra work and I was acting out in class because of boredom and also my dad had started dating my teacher)
Oh also my physics teacher who said I’d fail because I messed around in class so I left class and taught myself the course and got an A.

I really didn’t do well with authority figures but was good at exams and essays 🙈
