There has been talk of both Roger Stone and former Rep. Dana Rohrabacher trying to broker a pardon for Assange.

This description seems to match reported effort by Rohrabacher: wsj.com/articles/gop-c…

Per WSJ, Rohrabacher said back in 2017 that his proposal to John Kelly was: If Assange handed over physical evidence exonerating Russia in the hacks, he'd get a pardon "or something like that."

Confirmation that this is about Rohrabacher

The claim that Rohrabacher said he was acting at Trump’s instruction is obviously intriguing.

Previously reporting has made it seem like this is something Rohrabacher unsuccessfully pitched to the WH and John Kelly helped kill.

At the time Rohrabacher publicly floated a pardon, but claimed he couldn't "remember" if he had talked with anyone in the White House about it.

About a month later Trump himself said he'd never heard anyone talk about a pardon for Assange. Rohrabacher responded by complaining that White House aides were getting in the way.

Rohrabacher's comments at the time certainly seem to suggest he didn't have much access to Trump. Here he discusses making sure Rand Paul knew about the pardon idea — so that, if Trump happened to call Paul, Paul could tell him about it

Trump had Rohrabacher over to the Oval Office for a meeting in April 2017. Trump reportedly asked for the meeting after seeing Rohrabacher talk Trump/Russia on Fox. Meeting lasted 45 minutes, Priebus and Bannon were there

Bernie has fallen below 15% in Clyburn's district (the 6th), meaning Biden would get all 8 delegates there, per The Green Papers:

Count is not final. Bernie's viable in every other district, but that's the one where he's currently short.
Update: Bernie has surged — to 15.76% in SC's 6th congressional district, barely above the threshold. 94% of counties in.

(Wait till Super Tuesday and the er, days and weeks after, where we get to do this with many different districts.)

Seems to me there are four broad possible (non-candidate specific) outcomes from Super Tuesday in a split field.

SCENARIO 1: One candidate emerges with a big delegate lead and is on track for or close to on track for a majority.

That candidate would be the near-certain nominee.
SCENARIO 2: One candidate emerges with a large delegate plurality in a split field, but is not on track for a majority.

That would make that person the favorite to get the nomination — eventually. But their rivals could keep campaigning to try to block them from a majority.
SCENARIO 3: Two candidates get the vast majority of the Super Tuesday delegates.

This would effectively set up a head-to-head contest going forward. Also means a contested convention is unlikely since delegates are being split two ways. Like 2008 and 2016

Here's a fun thing about Democrats' delegate math.

If the result somewhere is Bernie 30%, Biden 25%, Warren 20%, Pete 15% — that means, Bernie gets 1/3 of the delegates.

But if it's Bernie 30%, Biden 20%, everyone else sub-15% — Bernie gets 3/5 of the delegates.
That's because delegate allocation is determined not based on your share of the total vote, but based on your share of the viable candidates' vote.

So you clear out everyone below 15%. Then your share of what's left will be your share of the delegates.
Bernie has the exact same 30% share of the vote in both of my examples.

But in the first, the viable candidates' vote share is larger (90% when added together). So 30% is only 1/3 of that.

In the second, the viable candidates have just 50%. 30% is 3/5 of that. Much bigger haul

A reminder: In Aug 2017, after meeting w/ Julian Assange, Charles “Chuck” Johnson said Rohrabacher was going to suggest to Trump that he grant a preemptive pardon to Assange in exchange for evidence showing that Russia wasn’t the source of the DNC emails.
