@nakashimae @jdawsey1 The briefing that angered Trump was by Shelby Pierson, the ODNI official who coordinates efforts to combat election interference, given to Democratic and Republican members of the House Intel Committee last week.
@nakashimae @jdawsey1 The president erroneously believed that Pierson had given information exclusively to Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the committee chairman, and it would be helpful to Democrats if released publicly.

Schiff's opening statement largely a reprise of his earlier statements about Trump's actions, w/ narratives from Vindman woven in. Nunes, who had previously attacked the process, now is casting doubt on testimony of earlier witnesses and attacking press coverage of Russia probe.
The media are "puppets of the Democratic party," Nunes says. So now he's accusing us, w/ zero evidence, of collusion. This is a notable strategy that so far is largely avoiding what the witnesses today have already told the committee.
Now Nunes is casting the Hill's John Solomon as a rare truth teller that is a "problem" for the Democrats and the media. And castigating the press for attacking New York Times' Ken Vogel as a conspiracy theorist.

@DevlinBarrett @mattzap ...working for the FBI, CIA, or possibly British or Italian intelligence. Giuliani is perhaps the most prominent proponent of this theory. There's no substantiated evidence to support it, tho. And US officials have identified Mifsud as a possible agent for Russia.

Ce qui se joue entre #Trump président et le Congrès avec cette procédure d'impeachment va bien au-delà de son sort. Le refus de #Pompeo de laisser témoigner au Congrès ses subordonnés signe 1 négation d'1 #démocratie de contre-pouvoirs à la présidence.
