The outlet confuses the lifting of sanctions with the UK's removal of tariffs on certain industrial products from Russia. Robinson says it's all thanks to Boris Johnson.

Robinson says that if Russia had wanted to kill Sergei Skripal they would have done it quietly and without using a chemical weapon.

Russia can become the UK's key partner after Brexit, especially in the battle with jihadis, Robinson says. "We can work together to preserve Christian values, culture and identity. Russians see Putin as the defender of their country. He is a strong politician...

Robinson has been convicted in the UK of common assault and contempt of court and has served jail time.

Russia welcomes people on all sides of the political spectrum who claim to have been persecuted in the West. And it's no problem for the left to associate themselves with the Kremlin despite this open support for the far right.

Latest tweet from the Libertarian Party of Russia about Robinson's appearance at their conference, talking about his claims that censorship enables rape by migrants. The Libertarian Party shows itself to be no better than the other Kremlin-oriented fake opposition parties.

It's hard to see how hating immigrants fits in with libertarianism.
