He advised Helen Steel and David Morris for a decade when McDonalds tried to shut down their right to speak freely about food standards and employment practices.
He worked hard to try and make Jeremy Corbyn Prime Minister and he is a trusted member of the frontbench team.

He says that there can be no turning back from the policy direction taken since 2015. The deep injustices that scar our economy & society are still to be tackled. That means opposing austerity, supporting common ownership & arguing that public services belong in public hands

Keir supports a human rights-based foreign policy. He opposed the Iraq war, he voted against airstrikes in Syria and he consistently stands up for international law and human rights. That’s an inspiring and peaceful vision of Britain’s role in the world.

Keir can bring the Party together. He believes that when the Labour Party comes together, we are a force for radical change unlike any other. We cannot waste any more time fighting each other when there is a right-wing Government to oppose and a country to win over.

Keir wants to unite every part of our Party & our movement. We can all contribute, all work together and all bring about the society we want to see together. He has people from all wings and traditions in the Party supporting him and working in his team.

As leader he will stand side by side with trade unionists to fight the growth of insecure work & restore dignity in the workplace. He has the support of our largest affiliated union, Unison, but he wants to unite the entire movement around our radical policy agenda.

When the Labour Party is united, radical and relevant it wins. And look what we have delivered in Government: the NHS, the Equal Pay Act and peace in Northern Ireland. Impossible dreams made possible by Labour. Another future is possible, but only if we win.

Keir has the skills to take on the Tories in Parliament & in the media. He is forensic, forceful & articulate and he is steadfast in his commitment to Labour’s values. When Johnson’s lies unravel, Keir is the right person to pick him apart & show him up at the dispatch box.
