Build a brand on top of your ability to deliver a result. (thread)
I speak to a lot of people who are in the process of "building their brand" online.

Many are doing it in the wrong order entirely.
Your brand is a conduit between a would be customer and your product/service.

Most people start building an audience first, and figuring out a "result" later. Bad idea.
A massive audience without a common problem is close to useless.

I remember a story a while back about an "influencer" unable to sell 5 t-shirts to an audience of several hundred thousand people.

Because they didn't stand for anything.
I have been in this position, blasting random information out in the hope that something connects with a random member of my network.

It wasn't until I honed in on the result I could generate for people that the approach to building the brand became clear.
@visualizevalue is a service I'd been delivering without a brand for years.

Helping businesses articulate their complex intellectual property to would-be buyers.
How could I communicate that ability in a quick, compelling, and consistent manner?

By developing a style and a system to demonstrate that ability (publishing frequently).
What did that process do for my business?

It built an engaged audience with common beliefs.

It generates a passive stream of income via digital products.

It connects me with some of the smartest people on the planet who see the value in visualizing their value.
