The #2020elections are quickly approaching, yet four bills designed to safeguard our elections from foreign interference sit in the Senate. #ProtectOurVote 
First up: the #SHIELDAct. This comprehensive bill would protect the legitimacy of our electoral process by requiring transparency and stopping disinformation campaigns.
Next up is the bipartisan Protect Our Elections Act. Sponsored by @SenRubioPress, @VanHollenforMD, @SenatorCollins, and @BenCardinforMD, this bill would prohibit foreign ownership and operation of companies providing election services.
This bill would also require each state to conduct an audit of election service providers to ensure all are owned and controlled by an American citizen or a member of the Five Eyes.
The #FIREAct also sits in the Senate. Sponsored by @MarkWarner, this bill would create a compliance system that ensures all foreign contacts during a presidential campaign are reported to the FBI and FEC.

Last up: the Duty To Report Act sponsored by @SenBlumenthal. This bill would require federal campaigns to disclose all meetings with a foreign national and impose a legal duty on campaigns to report offers of assistance from foreign agents.
