1- As a reminder, each judge is elected for 9 years. Since the 1950 Convention, any person can, after having seized the national courts, turn to the judges of Strasbourg whose decisions are then imposed to the States (top down decisions coming from the ECHR to the states!)
2- In France, more & more people are raising questions... In principle, it is Parliament that passes the laws a society wants, not judges to decide national debates !

3- family relations & inheritance... Our Civil Code inherited from Napoleon is threatened. We had to re-examine our French conception of marriage because of a consensus in the rest of Europe in favour of admitting same-sex marriage!
4- We have to follow the European principle of "personal autonomy" : total freedom to lead his or her life as he or she wishes (no limit !!) 😡. French law should recognize freely consented sadomasochistic practices..😡😡. ABOMINATION
5- Would we have signed that convention in 1950, if we had previously known that sadomasochism was to become a human right? The ECHR has upset whole our texts. Has it become a Supreme Court? The only solution is to leave the EU & regain our sovereignty : #Frexit !
