2. Everybody should be completely free to spend their own money on politics any which way they want, just so long as they do it openly. The only legal requirement should be full and timely disclosure. That's all!

3. Make no mistake. All campaign-finance laws are designed to dupe the public. These laws are nothing but an incumbent protection racket. They make life difficult for grassroots, scrappy challengers. They are no obstacle to incumbents and the well heeled like Bloomberg. Wise up.
