1. Democratic Debate in South Carolina
Mike Bloomberg just said, "21 of the 41 House Democrats that put Nancy Pelosi in charge of the House, I **bought** (he checked himself before finishing the word and said something else like 'supported') them."
2. It's hard to believe a word of what Elizabeth Warren says. She has established herself as the incorrigible prevaricator in this race, and that is saying something.
3. When asked to explain his math for the various programs he advocates, Bernie Sanders said, "How much time do you have?" Booooo!!!!! That is something only someone whose math just doesn't add up would say. And that is Bernie Sanders.
4. Bernie Sanders has been booed most frequently in this debate, mostly often for either evading the question or giving a horrible answer.
5. Amy Klobuchar is coming on exceptionally strong today, and making her points fairly persuasively. I would not be surprised if she does well in South Carolina primary.
6. Mike Bloomberg hit the question on charter schools out of the ballpark. The truth of the matter is Mike Bloomberg actually performed very well on education in NYC schools when he was mayor of the city for 12 years. He deserves kudos for that.
7. Question: "Will you allow China to build U.S. infrastructure?"

Elizabeth Warren: "We need to see Mike Bloomberg's tax returns."

I kid you not.
8. Bernie again applauded Cuba's progress on education. Bernie was roundly booed...again!
9. Joe Biden once again said that Obama admin wanted to retaliate against Russia for interfering in 2016 election, so Biden personally went to Mitch McConnell with a request and McConnell vetoed it. Who the hell was President in 2016, Mr. Biden -- Barack Obama or Mitch McConnell?
10. Bernie Sanders just called Benjamin Netanyahu a reactionary racist. Isn't that nice?
11. Amy Klobuchar's answer to a question about her willingness to meet with our adversaries: We should meet with Russia and renegotiate an arms treaty with Putin, but only after we have called him a lot of very bad names to his face. Donald Trump doesn't do that.
12. Net, net: I don't think Bernie Sanders will do as well in South Carolina as he has done in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada. This is where his momentum decelerates.
