THREAD: Recently released Papadopoulos 302s state that FBI reason for 1/27/16 Papa interview was to talk about Sergei Millian (alleged main source of primary sub-source, aka Person 1). Papa says that was just a bluff. But evidence suggests FBI's reason really was Millian. 
2/ To understand we need to go back 10 days to 1/17/16. That is when FBI first interviewed Steele's PSS. We learned from Horowitz that PSS contradicted almost everything Steele had said and collusion case was dead at that point. Crucially, Millian was central to the debunking.
3/ PSS told FBI that Person 1 contradicted virtually all of Steele's claims (conspiracy, Carter Page as intermediary, Wikileaks, DNC etc). Their entire case was on life support. So what does the FBI do? They start speculating that PSS must be lying about his sub-source (Millian).
4/ Funny how when they don't hear what they want, they always assume that it must be a lie. Anyway, so what's the next step if PSS is lying about what his/her source said? Chase down the source. Millian was not available but they had another lead, Papa.
5/ FBI knew since Oct 2016 that Papa knew Millian. FBI also sent CHS (Source 3) to record Papa convos where he talked about his friend Millian. Thus made sense for FBI to go and talk to Papa about Millian & see if they could revive Crossfire Hurricane after PSS had debunked it.
6/ Timing is another clue here. Papa 1/27 interview came right after PSS disclosures. Lots of people ask why Papa wasn't interviewed earlier. My hunch is that FBI had concluded he was a blowhard nobody. Papa's v chummy convos with Source 3 would have made that abundantly clear.
7/ So what happened when the FBI came to talk to Papa about Millian? Papa confirmed what PSS said. Millian had no info. Then how did Papa's convo with FBI veer into other topics such as Mifsud? My hunch is that it was not intentional. Papa was trying to please and ran his mouth.
8/ We can't know for sure of course but if I had to bet, I'd say that Papa's blabbering inadvertently reignited Crossfire Hurricane (after PSS had pretty much killed). Only way to know for sure is to review the 1/27 interview transcript which Papa has but is unwilling to share.
9/ One more thing. Should anyone have any doubt about Papa's propensity to talk himself into trouble, check out all the things he told the FBI at Dulles *after* he was told not to say anything without his lawyer.
