Bernie on @maddow dissembles again. He defends Medicare for all by pointing to Canada, 50 miles from the interview. But Canada, like every industrial democracy, also has private insurance. So it is in no way comparable to his plan that would totally illuminate private insurance.
Add another reality that somehow never comes up. Bernie’s Vermont tried everything I could to get a single-payer system. A small homogeneous state with a government determined to make it work. And it failed. How can you do that in a divided, enormous heterogeneous country
