If you’re going to reply that I’m wrong and it’s cognitive decline realize that I’m an undecided voter and that response would be an unproductive way to engage the million of us in America that stutter.
When we speak we operate two parallel speech production operations, the broken built-in system and then a manual override system that we’ve wired-in over time. It can be exhausting to do both, especially when we’re already too fatigued to focus on our speech interceptor.
We didn’t support younger presidential candidates adequately and the youth turn out has so far been flat with some exceptions. We’re left with olds picking olds in decline by natural causes. It’s amazing and inspiring tho that one of the possible nominees has a stutter, at least.
