Kathleen: Until the WH gets their act together on testing, we are going to have more cases than we know. If you have flu-like symptoms, assume you have COVID-19 and take appropriate precautions. You will likely recover, but avoid spreading. cdc.gov/coronavirus/20…
And if you don't have flu-like symptoms, it is possible that you have been exposed but are not yet asymptomatic (and may never be, esp if you are young and healthy.) You do however have some risk of being a carrier, so take normal public health precautions.
(e.g., wash your hands, cover your mouth when you cough, wipe down surfaces.) Nothing to panic about, but do all those things you know you should be doing but sometimes don't. :)
