I‘m not able (or willing) to refute every bit of #covid19 #fakenews here. I‘m hardly able to keep up with the science and the real news - and that‘s what I‘m interested in. So just two general principles from me that I‘d refer you to whenever you hear a rumor (it will be often):

1. Surely we can agree that the sensible approach is to concentrate on doing the things we KNOW will keep us and the people around us safe (washing hands, distancing, etc.) instead of fretting about stuff that MAY have some (small?) effect. (If it‘s big we‘ll see it soon enough.)

2. For the love of god: Don‘t forward, tweet or send messages about #covid19 if you don‘t know if they are true or not and if they don‘t come DIRECTLY from a knowledgeable, expert source. Let’s practice some information hygiene on top of hand hygiene.
