This afternoon I'm meeting President Trump, VP Pence and other administration officials at the White House. My talking points are as follows:
Immediately direct federal agencies (e.g., HHS, CMS, VA, etc..) to remove all regulatory barriers for CRNAs and other APPs. (1/4)

This is an all-hands on deck situation. We need all advanced practice providers to practice to the top of their education and training. Along with our physician colleagues, CRNAs, NPs, PAs, etc.. are on the front-lines and saving lives (2/4)
We need to mobilize in an unprecedented manner to ensure that all healthcare providers have appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Time is of the essence here, and we need to protect our providers and their families. (3/4)
Along with PPE, we need to ensure that there is a sufficient number of ventilators and other medical equipment available to accommodate the anticipated surge of patients in respiratory failure. Undoubtedly, The strain on capacity will be profound. (4/4)
