2. Stop treating them as a monolith of "bros." #NotMeUs is multi-generational and highly diverse. Enough erasure. Enough reducing them to Twitter trolls. Appreciate who they are: working people for whom the status quo (perpetuated by both parties) can be a death sentence.
4. Don't condescend to them as a bunch of ingrates who want to help Trump. They are principled people seeking a more just and fair America. They'll do what their conscience tells them. And polls show the vast majority of #Bernie supporters will vote for Biden if he's the nominee.
5. Stop blaming #Bernie voters for 2016 and stop preparing to blame them for 2020. They believe (as I do) that we will never truly defeat the autocrats, plutocrats, and theocrats running this country through appeasement and faux-bipartisanship. Time has proven them right.
6. Understand that #Bernie is beloved by the next generation of voters. If you want a future for the party, stop dismissing young voters who are demoralized and disgusted by the political process. Ask why the Democratic Party has been unable to motivate them. It matters a lot.
7. Don't lecture #BernieSanders on dropping out. He and his team love the country, care about people's struggles, and will do what they think is the best and most ethical.
