Fierce & powerful creatures, they move around in family groups with strong bonds

When a trap is set, it captures only individual boars
& surviving boars learn fast & avoid those traps thereafter
Making hunting down an entire group a long & arduous exercise
So its better to ensure that the entire sounder (a family of wild boars) are eliminated in one shot

Trappers & hunters follow a specific strategy:
A spot near their usual stomping grounds is selected
A circular area is fenced off with 1 or 2 points of entry & egress
Which can be closed with trapdoors
Corn or a similar bait is placed here for the boars to feast on
