This whole "Where's Joe Biden?" narrative is extremely stupid. As far as we know, he's at his house in Wilmington, DE, piling up delegates as the de facto Dem nominee while the economy crashes. Why would he tailor his schedule to placate angry Bernie supporters on Twitter? Lol

If you just generally dislike Joe Biden, I obviously get it. I did not want him to be the Democratic nominee either. But generally disliking Biden doesn't obligate you to invent bogus, bad faith criticisms. Stick to the real criticisms, would be my recommendation: there are many

I've mocked the "Bernie Bro" narrative from the day Hillary's sycophants conjured it up in early 2016, but it's totally true that a loud and aggressive faction of Bernie supporters online are relentlessly nasty if you do anything other than spread irrational pro-Bernie propaganda
As somebody who has spent nearly five years helping rebut genuine anti-Bernie propaganda, and offering CONSTRUCTIVE criticism (namely around issues like Russiagate, impeachment, Trump alarmism) I really do kinda resent having my motives impugned at the slightest sign of deviation
My attitude toward irrational, ineffective Biden criticism has been the same for a year. I know it's a funny narrative to run around screaming that I only adopted this attitude last Thursday after Tulsi dropped out, but that's demonstrably, provably untrue

I blame Trump for spreading misinformation about coronavirus during the critical weeks when preparations should have been made

I also blame the media and Dems for creating a hysterical political climate that primed half the country to dismiss the threat

I know it's impossible for so many people to think in anything other than blinkered, partisan terms, but if you're not suffering from either Trump Derangement Syndrome OR #Resistance Syndrome, you can understand how to properly allocate blame for this massive state failure
Further, I know people don't read things they see online, they just react in reflexive pique. But if you actually read the piece I wrote -- and look at the evidence -- I have no idea how any rational person can deny that Trump grievously downplayed and mischaracterized the threat

Compared to Hillary, Biden is less outlandishly corrupt, less cartoonishly hawkish, and less personally smug/nasty/vindictive/elitist. That's not an affirmative case for Joe, who still has countless grave problems, but it does partially explain why Bernie and Tulsi don't hate Joe
Biden also doesn't have a network of insufferable sycophants, paid trolls, and so forth anywhere near on the order of Clinton-world. That's why the Clinton/Obama operatives were initially ambivalent about Biden running. So it's just a different dynamic. (I'm not "defending" Joe)
Hillary didn't apologize for her Iraq War vote until 12 years later (2014). Biden apologized in 2005. Hillary was on the hawkish side of every foreign policy debate within the Obama Admin, Biden was on the less hawkish side. (I'm not promoting Biden, just comparing to Hillary!!!)
