Suppose that you are arguing that Trump's decisions have been "disastrous." You would need to demonstrate this with actual data, with simulations, with modelling. The reality is that for those afflicted with TDS, they merely argue that ANY decision that Trump takes is proof of
his ineptitude. He called for a ban on travel from China, he's a racist. He suggests that we need to engage in a multi-objective optimization problem (handling the economy and protecting lives), he is a murderer who only cares about money. Again, I don't love nor hate Trump.
But I recognize that world leaders including those whom I dislike (e.g., @justintrudeau) are trying their best as they face a profoundly difficult challenge laden with innumerable sources of uncertainty. So stop being tribal imbeciles. Focus on the ONLY danger that matters for
now, namely the Coronavirus. Contribute your part to the problem by heeding the rules of quarantining etc. Take care of your families. Keep your minds and bodies engaged. Trump is living in your heads rent free. Free yourselves of your blind hate for this man. Seek peace.
