This screen shot is but one example of far right attempting to take down social democracy in Canada.

Using chaos and crisis as a weapon to manipulate panicked emotionally charged Canadians, & more specifically Albertans, to abandon trust in the federal government.

Remember, this is at the beginning of a global pandemic. When trust in leadership is paramount.

Con shills and the premier of AB are undermining the federal Liberals.

Let that sink in.

This is a global emergency. We must stay united in purpose to survive.

This is the equivalent of yelling fire in a burning crowded hall & then steering a panicked crowd away from the closest exit while calling the firefighters, who are attempting to direct the flow of panicked people, failures and undermining their authority.

When the crisis is over, the people who perished in the fire can’t confirm they were redirected by a conniving power hungry despot. They’re dead.

But the despot continues to point fingers at the firefighters, calling them inept, incompetent and guilty of allowing people to die.

These are the actions of a:
scoundrel
villain
ne’er do well
anti hero
miscreant
rogue

There are many different terms to describe these people. But they are the lowest of the low. Willing to inflict suffering, blame someone else for it and assume their power.

It’s called consolidation of power.

Tragedy and crisis bring illness, injury or death. When the public is directed to blame those trying to mitigate the crisis, that’s a power play.

There is no other explanation, no other way, to describe what’s happening.

These are acts only the most depraved & corrupt in society commit. Only those willing to sacrifice the lives & well-being of others to gain political power, use this strategy.

It’s only used by the worst examples of human beings. Because it requires harm to other human beings.

These human beings are Psychopaths. Sociopaths, Antisocial Personality, Malignant human beings.

These human beings exist in all societies. They are part of the human experiment and have always existed.

This type of human being is NOT psychotic (unable to control their dark nature). Quite the opposite.

Unencumbered by normal human emotions, psychopaths are adept at manipulation, charm and strategic calculated subterfuge for their personal advantage and quest for power.

Several examples exist in history.Following are some notable totalitarian psychopathic leaders

Those are 20th century examples and certainly not an exhaustive list.

Totalitarians sociopaths are not your garden variety of dictator.

They don’t just covet power & control. They want to reshape society in their preferred image.

Totalitarians do not start out with restrictive measures. They incrementally introduce stricter and harsher edicts. They erode rights and freedoms slowly.

During crises, they seek to consolidate their power more resolutely and quickly. They use a Reichstag event.

Common characteristics include:
* religious zealotry
* authoritarian upbringing
* exposure to extreme forms of socialism in youth
* compelling speaker
* charismatic leader
* manipulative gaslighter
* greedy & egocentric
* opportunist/profiteer
* undermine other leaders

There are hundreds of thousands of people with those characteristics. But thankfully only a few are also megalomaniacs.

These are the sociopaths with gregarious personalities, rigid fastidiousness, controlling natures & limited checks on their behaviour.

They frequently do not perform the dirty work of directly harming others. Offloading that responsibility to loyal followers and devotees.

Except for those with sadist tendencies. Those are the creepiest sociopaths. They experience pleasure by inflicting pain.

Because of their charm & commanding presence, they attract wannabe authoritarians & opportunists. Manipulating the ambitions of their followers to perform the nastiest deeds. Ensuring loyalty by corruption.

They’re the most dangerous & disturbing within the human species.

If they perceive a personal benefit, nothing restrains them. Decisions that harm others are no more difficult than choosing a paint colour. Sabatoge, obstructionism, treachery, deaths, economic ruin.

Having no conscience means there is no guilt or shame to hold them back.

There are currently several global & domestic leaders that fit this personality profile.

There is a common theme amongst them all.

They are all using the chaos of the global pandemic to advance their agendas.

Putin & MbS are attacking the North American O&G industry. Xi, MbS & assorted oligarchy are waiting for economic collapse to buy cheap assets.

Trump, McConnell, Johnson & Morrison allowed rampant spread of a deadly virus in hopes to get through the pandemic sooner, to take advantage of economic opportunities the pandemic will create.

Bolsonaro is discounting the virus. Following the white Christian nationalist’s lead.

Orban just gave himself unlimited powers and impunity to address COVid-19.

Erdogan & Sisi deny there is a problem. They use autocratic powers to consolidate more power and deny COVid 19 exists. Preferring to protect tourist industries and the economy.

Modi is responding to COVid-19, but too little too late.

He seems to be managing his public image more than addressing the pandemic’s death toll in India.

Maduro & Venezuela are a global public health security threat. Economic and healthcare collapse will exacerbate COVid-19.

And Canada, Scheer is putting on his best Harper performance and leading the conservative faithful to believe PMJT is inept. The amount of negative SM being amplified is unprecedented. Poilievre, O’Toole, Rempel, Batters, obscure backbench MP’s are all echoing Scheer’s smears.

And Kenney. Ploughing ahead with a defunct budget, due to barrels of oil being worth less than barrels of monkeys, is attacking healthcare in AB during the pandemic. He’s also invited Stephen Harper to suggest economic solutions.

More cuts? More propaganda? More austerity?

Of all the provinces in Canada, Alberta seems to be the only one overtly moving to implement policies and cuts to budgets that will exacerbate the pandemic. Even Ford was capable of a bit of enmity towards ON profiteers.

But not Kenney & UCP. Kenney is hell bent on destroying the universal healthcare system in Alberta & Canada. Destroying public education during the pandemic, and selling every resource he can to the people that pay for his political campaigns.

Kenney supports his Health Minister’s relentless attacks on medical professionals. Continued “confidemce” in his completely inappropriate bullying Health Minister who introduced a private digital healthcare app to a panicked population that harvests medical & personal data.

There is no mistaking what Kenney & UCP are up to. Consolidating power. Removing democracy as an option. Ensuring deaths of citizens by making planned cuts during a pandemic. Flexing a dictator muscle forcing physicians to work for less pay & delisting pay codes.

Inviting a panel of like minded authoritarian ideologues to decide the economic fate of 4.3 M Albertans.

Kenney & Harper are installing a neo-fascist regime in Alberta during the pandemic. I’m frightened to think what they have planned next.
