@sammathaeus @acchizmar Yes. I hope this is helpful. Adam was made righteous, perfectly imaging back to God what he was made to do. He was endowed w/ the Spirit to fulfill the CoW.
@sammathaeus @acchizmar Christ has the Spirit w/o measure and b/c he fulfilled the terms of the CoW in the CoG he brought his sacrifice to the Holy of Holies in the Ascension.
@sammathaeus @acchizmar He was thus perfected as the Spiritual Man of 1 Cor 15 and gave the gifts of the Eschaton which were hidden in the Holy of Holies to us in Pentecost.
@sammathaeus @acchizmar So, we have a piece of the perfected, beatified vision of God by faith (even though it is still clouded by sin and this evil age) via Christ by the Spirit which was more resplendent than Adam had.
@sammathaeus @acchizmar It will be absolutely perfect when the heavens open and there is no distinction between the Holy of Holies and the cosmos. God's absolute perfection will cover the cosmos.
@sammathaeus @acchizmar The Spirit allows us to participate in the age to come now and break the spell of the current evil age and shine the light of the Holy of Holies into the world.
@sammathaeus @acchizmar We participate in what CS Lewis calls the "deeper magic" behind this curtain of the evil age. Grace is really the way of the universe, not Karma or the Talionic Principle.
@sammathaeus @acchizmar B/c of the Spirit's indwelling at Pentecost, Paul says we can redeem the time. We walk in the Spirit. We participate in shining the light into dark places of the cosmic outer darkness and spread the fragrance of Christ everywhere ...
@sammathaeus @acchizmar ... because we have the Ascended Lord's Spirit indwelling us. We thus become conduits of grace via a life of martyrdom. Through the path of humiliation now, we participate in the Cruciform Lord's work.

@sammathaeus @acchizmar I would also add that this beatific vision that Christ offers us is what Adam was made for and promised. It is the same. We are not fundamentally/ontologically different than Adam in this sense. This was humanity's telos from the beginning offered in the CoW.
@sammathaeus @acchizmar When we don't see the bigger cosmic picture of what is happening in the background, we miss the significance of what is in the foreground of the text. This is pretty evident w/ 2K theology.
