I am intrigued by the latest research on the human microbiome. It appears that many Hindu practises had high awareness of this.
Otoh, if some communities share the microbiome extensively, I wonder if that also encourages a certain herd behavior?

Eating from the same plate and drinking from the same bottle is *prescribed* in Islam. This is why these Orthodox Muslim groups do it. The Tik-tok videos are accurately portraying the belief.
