-not nag their husbands during lockdown
-refrain from being "sarcastic" if asking for help w/household chores

#Malaysia's Ministry for Women, Family and Community Development issued the advise along with a series of online posters on social media with the hashtag #WomenPreventCOVID19.

The campaign was swiftly met with ridicule, forcing the ministry to abandon its campaign.

When we talk about #COVID19 like it’s a war and we talk about the “frontlines” of that war: who are the majority of the fighters on that frontline?

When we talk about “work” and “value” and “essential”: whose work is the most valued and the most essential right now?
When wars end, countries build a “tomb of the unknown soldier” and memorials to eulogize those killed on the frontlines, to thank them for their sacrifice.

1) Although Montreal observed a smaller rise in #COVID cases Friday, it reported its biggest single-day increase in deaths: 12. The pandemic has now claimed the lives of 29 Montrealers, all elderly but for one individual in his/her 30s. In this thread, I also address projections.
2) First, though, let me share what I’ve learned from health professionals on the front lines. At Lachine Hospital, the ICU staff are now intubating an average of three #COVID19 patients a day. Some physicians are desperate for masks and are willing to buy the masks themselves.
3) The total number of confirmed #COVID cases across Montreal Island rose to 2,837 — an increase of 7.38%. That’s far better than Thursday’s jump of 25.99%. But the case numbers are fluctuating wildly from day to day, likely reflecting backlogs in tests.

It shows the number of #COVID cases by age in S. Korea (red) vis Italy (green). And there are WAY more young cases in S. Korea.

Why? NOT because younger ppl get it in S. Korea. But because S. Korea TESTS young ppl.

In Italy (like the US), they're only testing ppl w/ symptoms. And the ppl who show symptoms w/ #COVID19 are older and sicker. That's why their numbers are skewed by age.

But in S. Korea, they're testing everyone, meaning their catching the young, asymptomatic cases, too.

So remember the pics of all those kids partying this weekend? Well, they think they're not going to get the #Coronavirus. That's not true, they're just not going to get SYMPTOMS of #Covid_19. But this graph shows that they might still get it--and unknowingly pass it on.

Sebab kita dari kecil dah didedahkan kepada pelbagai bahasa dari rumpun etnik yang berbeza, otak kita lebih mudah adapt kepada bahasa asing berbanding warga negara lain. Lainlah kalau kau membesar di Canada atau Australia jadi kau hanya pandai bahasa Anglais saja.
