A few comments is response to "Planet of the Humans". Gibbs (& Zehner) slay many "green energy" myths once & for all – while exposing the foundation "movements" as part & parcel of industry/capital & ruling classes – which they are.

Added caveat: Industrial civ. is destroying all life on Earth. Human destruction of #biodiversity is not created equally: "Tribal peoples are the best conservationists & guardians of the natural world, & 80% of our planet’s #biodiversity is found in #tribal territories."

I will carry the images of the 800 yr old Joshua tree being shredded into dust - & the cow & horse being "liquefied" into "biofuel" - forever.

"In the desert, the Joshua tree stands, waiting, waiting for the giant ground sloths and the mammoths that shall never return."

That being said, an environmental movement not built on a foundation of anti-imperialism, anti-militarism & anti-capitalism is meaningless. Worthless.

Capitalism was touched upon in the film - but as the "movement" is racist, paternalistic & patriarchal - it bears repeating.

With that out of the way...

Moore's commentary in the Q&A session was worse than disappointing. Yet more than revealing. Highlighting Thunberg™️, Sanders, AOC, XR, GND, - all in the design/pocket of the ruling classes - in 1 hr Moore undermines the said intent of the film.

"That's what's great about Bernie & AOC... each of their green new deals acknowledge this income inequality..."

Any/all GNDs will serve the ruling class. The World Economic Forum (partnered with the United Nations) is at the helm. Not Sanders. Not AOC. Not the Democrats.

Moore continues on about the Sanders, AOC & the GND. This matters as over 105k very interested people listened - wishing to find out what they could do to help change things.

Moore: "we need to have a whole new environmental movement, maybe what Greta has started"...

"... Sun Rise Movement, Extinction Rebellion, Greta & her Friday School Strike."

Moore re-directs youth right back to foundation financed, millionaire/corporate backed "movements".

All roads lead to the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

All roads lead to the #NewDealForNature (financialization of nature).

Global capital to turn all life into #data commodities.

NGOs will not dissent. Rather, they are tasked w/ obtaining the required social silence.

Today #Greta™️ has been #resurrected by UN/World Economic Forum in servitude to #4IR #digitization. Note she implores that the impoverished children "do not have access to #digital #education" prior to addressing nutrition, water, and sanitation concerns.

I'm not suggesting Gibbs or Zehner had ulterior motives in any way.

Yet - Moore is clearly using his platform to promote dead-end NGO "activism". He redirects a captive audience back to western electoral politics that serve a global corporatocracy.

Activism. Think for yourself, act for others. Defend the land. Protect the water.

The "activism" (same old) Moore promotes serves as the means of obtaining social license being sought (required) for the World Economic Forum/global capital - for continued plunder/exploitation.

And to the question as to if this film will be used to "actually REINFORCE #4IR momentum?!"

The answer is yes. This is a given. And it's already happening. The film lends itself to the justification of the draconian measures & fascist lockdowns. A "time-out" for bad humans.

Know this:

The said/desired "solutions" to the climate change & biodiversity crises are exclusively embedded within the confines of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. For #WEF/#UN, finance, NGOs, academia, et al., - the three are irrevocably interwoven.
