#Thread to counter this (pseudo) logic making rounds in the trads circle to justify their imaginary restriction of women to study and chant Vedas. #vedas #SanatanDharma #women #dharma #chanting

This one is concerned to the anatomy of females which according to them are not suitable for chanting of Vedic hymns. Trads/tradcells (inspired by their Gurus) claim chanting of Vedic mantra affects the reproductive organs of women,..

.. by burning their uterus over period of time, while in case of men their organ remains intact !

For argument sake, even if we accept it, let trads and their gurus provide atleast one scientific and historical instance or evidence of a woman who has lost her reproductive system due to Vedas.

.. From the Ancient Rishikas like Lopamudra, Gargee, Romasha, Ghosha, including Brahmavadinis and Vedic scholars like Maitreyi, Ubhaya Bharti and others who find mention in Ved Vyas’s Mahabharata and even Puranas etc..

and as late as as female ascetics encountered by Kalidasa 1500 years ago, there is no single evidence of any scholarly women suffering from any anatomical abnormalities due to Vedic studies and chanting of Vedas.

There is mention of nearly 60 Rishikas (female Rishis) and Brahmavadinis who expounded Vedic suktas and achieved expertise in Vedic wisdom in our Sanatan History.

Unfortunately most of the divisions/mandalas of Vedas are lost in due course of time. Who knows how many more such female Rishikas r also lost in time ?? An approximate list of female Vedic scholars from Ancient India is attached here, courtesy : desiprism from Instagram

My question to all those Gurus and their followers : if you are true Sanatanis, do u really believe that Vedas, Which are the divine words of the Ishwar, will ever harm any of His creations ?

Agreed Vedic chanting MUST be done properly after being thoroughly trained by a recognised guru since the same produces vibrations and needs high level of dedication.

However, in worst case scenario, wrong chanting would result to your undesirable results. It can never cause harm you, be in Male or female, because as mentioned in Yajurveda 26.2, Ishwar has given Vedas for all irrespective of class and gender.

.. Also, if at all Vedas wld have been dangerous for women, Panini, the legendary grammarian from Ancient India, won’t have been fool enough to coin terminologies like Acharyaa (lady teacher) & upadhyayaa (lady preceptor) Who used to teach Vedas to girl students in Kanya Gurukul

Such misconceptualised reasons are nothing but Pseudoscience which is part of a nefarious propaganda to keep our eligible Hindu women away from the supreme divine knowledge and wisdom in Sanatan Dharma,..

.. Which itself has originated from Maa Gayatri who is regarded as Mother of Vedas, a woman herself. Is this not utter hypocrisy? Some trads started this propaganda in Middle Ages and their bloodline are continuing this even now.

In the modern era, there are thousands and thousands of girls and women who are studying and teaching Vedas in countless Kanya Gurukuls across the country run by Arya Samaj, Patanjali, Art of Living, Isha Foundation etc...

Has there been any case of anatomical deformity due to Vedas in any woman from such Gurukuls or Have later become sterile ???

Personally speaking, my mother, my mother in law chant Gayatri Mantra daily, for kind information of all trads, I, my sister, wife , brother in law etc, all grew up fine and are all safe and sound.

So let’s come out of this gender prejudice propagated in name of this illogical pseudo science which is clearly not part of our glorious eternal Sanatan Dharma. Let our daughters, sisters, wives, mothers etc , if interested & eligible, study Vedas and practice Vedic way of life.

History is the witness and as glorified multiple times in Atharveda, Yajurv Vedas and even Manusmiriti, if women, the spark of Adi Para Shakti, are kept spiritually illiterate, society and Dharma will decline eventually,...

.. and unfortunately, we have already set ourselves in the course of destruction unless we bring about some drastic change in the way we learn and implement our Dharmic teachings and wisdoms, irrespective of Varna and gender.

We complain a lot about rapid surge in cases of ‘love jihad’ where willingly or unwillingly Hindu girls elope with M guys and most of them convert, discarding their original Vedic Sanatan Dharma. One of the reasons for this is keeping women away from supreme Vedic knowledge.

Let us note, unlike trads who believe in forcible seclusion of Hindu females as a measure to counter Love Jihad, Manusmiriti 9.12 says clearly that women can’t be secured or protected through force. It is only through her intellect and wisdom she can defend herself.

Let me reassure all that the Vedacharyaa here as well as her girl students are quite healthy and their anatomy including female reproductive organs are all safe and sound. The only change in them is positive and enlightening spiritually and psychologically.
