So it turns out Trump's beef with the NFL isn't about America but—wait for it!—his own vanity. Just like all the *rest* of his mock outrage.
2/ It's no coincidence his first attack was on NFL owners'—in his telling—inaction. This *whole thing* is about him not getting an NFL team.
3/ His business failing in not getting an NFL team compels him to find excuses to say the NFL is failing and *should* fail. It's *pathetic*.
4/ This also explains why Trump Tower Moscow was worth—to Trump—the potential legal/political costs of collusion. He wanted that damn tower.
5/ This is a sick man who literally will do anything, no matter how vile, to feed his malignant narcissistic ego. He's a danger to everyone.
6/ And the media fell for it *again*. They took Trump's outrage as being about what he claimed it was *again*. They fed his madness *again*.
7/ The Trump-NFL tiff has—for Trump—nothing to do with America or the police. It's about Trump being a pathetic human and *bad at business*.
8/ Did Trump betray America by courting Putin? Yes—and it had nothing to do with America. Per usual for him it was about *money and vanity*.
9/ Trump, on the misery his NFL tweets have caused America: "It's really caught on." Our lives are just a damn game to him. This has to end.
10/ Read the presidential Oath of Office and tell me this man doesn't violate it with *every* tweet, hateful rally, and manufactured crisis.
PS/ If real, this letter, posted by a reader, is an incredibly telling look into the fury Trump has felt toward USFL/NFL owners for decades. 
PS2/ (Keep in mind—per Newsweek, the issues referred to in the letter above all involved Trump's plot to get NFL owners to give him a team.)

PS4/ I now wonder now why no one in the media spoke up about Trump's history with the NFL the *second* he started tweeting about its owners.
PS5/ If we weren't such a traumatized nation, we might've been positioned to quickly see Trump's NFL tweets for what they are—*sour grapes*.
