Just adding in clarity on the laws surrounding the Trump-Russia investigation:

(1) Federal Election Law prohibits foreign nationals from contributing anything of value to an American campaign. /2

(2) FEC also criminalizes anyone who knowingly provides “substantial assistance” to foreign nationals making contributions. /3

(3) FEC also prohibits campaigns soliciting, accepting or receiving contributions or donations from foreign nationals. /4

(4) Aiding or abetting the hack of US individuals would be a violation of the Computer Fraud & Abuse Act /5

(5) Lying on a security clearance form is a felony - making a false statement USCC 18 § 1001 /6

(6) Foreign Corrupt Practices Act prohibits bribes to a foreign government to assist in obtaining business. /7

(7) Violation of 2014 US-Russian sanctions which ban doing business with Igor Sechin and Rosneft. /8

(8) Violation of 2014 US-Russian sanctions by doing business with fmr Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych /9

(9) Violation of 2014 US-Russia sanctions by doing business with Bank Rossiya, Invest Capital, SMP, Volga Group (Stroytransgaz Holding) /10

(10) Co-investing with a group financed by a Russian state bank under US Sanctions /11

(11) Using governmental position to imply governmental sanction (looking at you, Flynn) 5 CFR § 2635.702 /12

(12) Using public office for personal gain (same as #11) /13

(13) Public officials accepting bribes and further corruption (US constitution article 2) /14

(14) All money exchanged could be wire fraud. /15

(15) RICO is possible against the Trump Organization based on mob proceeds. /16

(16) Failure to register as a foreign agent (under Treason provisions) /17

(17) Failure to register as a Foreign Agent under FARA (lobbying on behalf of foreign interests) /18

(18) Knowingly receiving stolen property with a value of over $5,000 (18 U.S. Code § 2315) /19

And finally, (19) Knowingly receiving stolen or embezzled US government records (like voter system data) 18 U.S. Code § 641 /20 <end>
