Allow me to explain what Uranium One is really about, so people can judge the extent of national risk Hillary enabled.

2. First and foremost, it's not about Uranium as such. Putin is neither stupid nor constrained in procuring adequate supplies of Uranium.

3. When was the last time you read a news item saying either Russia or U.S.A. was experiencing a Uranium shortage?

4. Putin does not need to get personally involved in backing an initiative to bribe and weasel his way into procuring yellow cake.

5. Nor does Putin need to trade in Uranium to make money. After all, what purpose of Putin's is served by selling Uranium to rogue states?

6. There are far easier ways for Putin to make money by trading with rogue states than dealing in Uranium.

7. And non-rogue states aren't exactly looking to buy Uranium from Russia.

8. Both Russia & USA already have enough nukes to destroy the whole planet ten times over. And they don't lack fuel for power generation.

9. So why was Putin personally so keen to doggedly pursue this venture, so much so that he would bribe his way into it within the USA?

10. Because the whole point of it was to infiltrate the deep national security infrastructure of the United States, one step at a time.

11. It's not the Uranium exports to Russia that Putin is interested in. It's seeding his informants in key places in the Uranium chain.

12. It's not Uranium Putin wants, but enough control of a company that can obtain security clearance for its personnel to infiltrate.

13. Ability to seed employees, contractors, and consultants that answer to a company that Putin can exercise control over, is the prize.

14. Now you can imagine why this would be a bargain for Putin for a mere $146 MM to Clinton Foundation and $500K to Bill for a speech.

15. Clintons are so corrupt that they turned a blind eye to the implications of what they so eagerly enabled for a few pieces of silver.

16. Clintons have a history of putting personal interests over national interests.

17. Clintons have survived & thrived for so long, while indulging in seedy transactions with abandon, they think they are invincible.

Hillary supporters like @JoyAnnReid who say Uranium One was simply approved by CFIUS without HRC influence are partisan drones. 1/

Uranium One deal came before CFIUS on the heels of a Chinese company (Northwest) looking to invest in a U.S. mining company (Firstgold). 2/

That deal was blocked by CFIUS based on national security concerns that pale before the concerns Uranium One deal entails. Here, look. 3/

Yet Hillary drones buy into and propound the absurd assertion that Uranium One deal was approved by CFIUS uninfluenced by Hillary. 4/

What exactly was Hillary doing sitting in CFIUS (yes, she was a member) if exerting no influence on such serious decisions? 5/

Was Hillary sitting in CFIUS meetings texting Clinton Foundation donors the whole time, while other members were discussing Uranium One? 6/

It's absurd how Hillary claims she had nothing to do with Uranium One deal approval, just as she was AWOL on Steele dossier funding. 7/

One thing Hillary boasted about having done was locking herself in a room to do debate prep for many days, b/c ... preparing to be POTUS. 8/

Such are her achievements for which Obama hailed Hillary as, "the most qualified presidential candidate in history." 9/

Hillary supporters, please continue to drone on, even as the reality of her misdeeds catches up with her. 10/x

1) Uranium One: Much new information on the backdrop to Uranium One deal emerges today. An important article in The Hill reports at length what is now known from the memos written by William Campbell, who became an undercover FBI informant in 2008.

2) Those eager to exonerate Clintons would be well advised to pay attention to the extensive evidence that is emerging, now that the gag order placed on Campbell by the Obama admin has been lifted by the Trump admin.

3) Allow me to highlight just a couple of points from The Hill article. First, read this and judge for yourself whether Clintons were as innocent or clueless as Hillary pretends to be on the matter of Uranium One.

4) Russians apparently didn't think much of the Obama admin. See what undercover conversations with Russians involved in the Uranium One deal reveal.

5) Lastly, the recent reporting by WaPo as well as Shep Smith of Fox News that Uranium One never exported its American uranium because Obama admin did not allow it, turns out to be false.
