1/ p. 29 - the letter from WH firing Yates
2/ P. 70 - blacked-out email from Curtis Gannon (who was acting head of OLC) in response to initial reports that DOJ did not review travel ban EO.
3/ Apparently the Legal Aid Justice Center emailed Judge Brinkema (EDVA) a habeas corpus petition, in addition to filing on ECF. The portion above (which was forwarded to Yates) was blacked out.
4/ I deleted previous tweets about the 530D letter. Several people corrected me that it concerned the letter in Association of American Railroads, which was submitted to Congress the following day on 2/1/17. I apologize for the mistake. justice.gov/oip/foia-libra…

1/ Update in Obamacare litigation. In November, I predicted the Democratic-controlled House would retain Don Verrilli to defend ACA.
2/ Tonight--after California filed its notice of appeal--Don filed his notice of appearance on behalf of the House. Once again he will have the responsibility of defending Obamacare. What did I say? Groundhog Day.

This confirms the @axios report from this morning — and is not a big surprise, given that he's had one of the most difficult jobs in the White House and has still outlasted almost everyone there.
I'm honestly amazed he's still there now. McGahn has had a hellish job since day one. Recall that he had Sally Yates coming to him about Flynn and having to deal with the travel ban fallout (and that lawful permanent resident letter) in the first two weeks on the job.

This is the story of Mid-Year Exam (MYE), the FBI's counterintelligence investigation into Secretary Clinton's use of a personal email server while Secretary of State, and FBI's actions in investigating it.
