Alferova is an associate of the Agalarovs and was asked to help organize the 2013 Miss Universe event. In 2015, months before Trump announced his candidacy, she tweeted "@realDonaldTrump is going to run for the Presidency United States!"

In her recent Facebook post, she also says she just "bumped into [Trump] on his way out of the Ritz," and then was invited by Emin to a restaurant where Trump invited her to New York. She says she never took him up on that offer. (again thanks to @__alt__thought for translations)
