Through the (accidental?) pattern language of memes, the global public architects its own megacity of Internet culture.
"Echo Chamber" brings to mind a cave, but it is more akin to a ghetto.
The Echo Skyscraper pattern exists in ranked competitive game subcultures. A many-tiered hierarchy exists inside the skyscraper, yet the public sees a monolith.
Consider a Skyscraper: chess, LoL, etc.

Outsiders see it as a game with rules. An entity. A tower.

But, from the inside, you can look out and see the masses wandering below. You can look down and see how far you've climbed. Or, like most, you can gaze upward and keep climbing.
I live in a squat echo hut, with my echo family. I spend my days mining in the caves for sonic waves, so that we may continue echoing together.
Might we stop to consider the post-industrial echo warehouse or perhaps peek at a classic echo brownstone?
Children are just echoes of their parents, bouncing diffusely off the walls of education and culture.
A cold night. A wandering stranger appears just outside my echo home, seeking shelter.

I open the door and gesture. "Welcome, it's humble but it's mine."

"Thank you sir." He enters and removes his hat. Pulling a hammer from his jacket, he swings and smashes my windows and lamp.
Tinder is a massive postmodern skyscraper, a ranked competitive game that vaguely resembles something Greek or Mesopotamian, we can't quite tell but it's supposed to look old.
