In 1996, the Moscow publishing house published work famous Swiss Orientalist Adam Metz "Muslim Renaissance". In this book, few pages are quite remarkable information about the history of the slave trade in medieval Europe.

These statements come from an Introduction by the well-known
physician Ibn Botlan to the art of making good purchases of slaves. This little book combines with theory a good deal of ancient practical experiences in the traffic of slaves.
