1. The suspect is NOT SAM HYDE. This is the #1 hoax during breaking news situations.

1.5 These are both images of Sam Hyde, he is not a suspect. Online trolls use him after every breaking news situation. Don't fall for this one.

2. We currently know nothing about the suspect from authorities. DO NOT spread any completely unconfirmed, speculative information, like the below.

3. This is German YouTuber DragonLord, not the shooter. His image spreads in almost every breaking news situation.

4. This is not the suspect, it's YouTuber Dugan Ashley.

5. Another video creator, not the suspect.

6. It's definitely not this YouTuber, who is often presented as a "victim" or "lost kid" in the wake of breaking news situations.

7. This person is not a "victim," it's yet another YouTuber.

8. Neither AP or anyone else confirmed this. This is "pistachio girl." (Google it if you don't remember her.)

9. You guys don't need my help with this one.

10. *sigh* this badly photoshopped image is not of the suspect.

11. Careful with this one, it's getting traction. It's not the suspect, this is Sam Hyde (see #1) but pixelated.

12. There has been no information to substantiate this claim. Do not spread it.

13. This is not the suspect, it's Anita Sarkeesian. She is targeted by gamergaters a lot.

We DO NOT have any official confirmation of the gender or description of the shooter. This one is still spreading, be careful with it.

14. This is not the suspect, it's a self-described "infamous troll" and what are you doing trusting an account called TrutherHydra anyway?

15. HEAD'S UP! @lavrusikwas among the first to report the situation. His account appears to have been hacked.

16, 17, 18, 19: None of these are the suspect according to a reverse image search. Especially not the badly photoshopped YouTube HQ photo.

Still just Sam Hyde.

Be careful with Facebook search and others. They tend to surface conspiracies because facts take longer to report.

30: There is ZERO evidence right now that the shooter was in any way motivated by the NRA. Do not do this.

31: This is not the suspect, he is a YouTuber.

32: Nope, there no information to suggest anything in this tweet is true.

33: "False flag" conspiracy videos are already popping up on YouTube... about YouTube. Note that the "up next" videos are CNN, Fox News, and CBS. RT is in there too, though.
