Nope- not true. GCP, ethics and a myriad of international regulations prevent pregnant women from taking part in trials of drugs unless the express purpose of trial is a pregnancy treatment (all too rare- but that’s a discussion for another day). Next?
Not true. If she had been in the UK- she would have availed of a termination of pregnancy very early in the first trimester and could have continued on the drug which was keeping her cancer under control. But she wasn’t in the UK. She was in Ireland.
Look lads- you can try and spin this - and you clearly are trying- but facts are facts and the truth will out. The 8th is a danger to the health and wellbeing of women. Fact.
