Bitcoin is a perfect example. A voluntary monetary system that allows humans to opt-out of monetary systems they were born into.
It's just Chapter 1 in this whole trend though. The next stage will consist of figuring out ways of applying voluntarism to various areas of human organization including the political/governance.

Most nation-states are unyielding abstractions blessed with a veneer of legitimacy, which in practice provide a perfect platform for the worst amongst us to attain and abuse centralized power.
