I started playing #guitar in college. Some of my friends back home played, so I thought I'd learn. It's been years since I kept up with it. With no job and an empty house, I had time. Plus, I could crank up my amp. Ava would have hated it. All the more reason to do it.

Strumming a few chords or playing a riff through a loud amp usually makes me feel better. It's more of a distraction this time. My amp is a little old. Even a #ragpicker might pass on it. "If you're not going to play it, sell it," Ava nagged. Life always got in the way.

Lunchtime tweet. Further to my observations regarding morning traffic volumes in Corbally (R463) I contacted my local representatives and local authority @ClareCoCo suggesting it's high time there was proper cycling lanes. Responses are thus far positive. #cycling #commute 1/
I showed them sample photographs of traffic volumes at the same time each day compared to the one day just the local secondary school was off. Imagine if we could get half those lads that are being dropped off to cycle. By the way -lots of lads DO cycle 2/
But there's potential to get a good many more out of cars making the road better functional and safer for all, shortening commuting time, making public transport options more dependable. Anyway hopefully @ClareCoCo act on it and hopefully @LimerickCouncil take up the slack 3/

On Thursday I was going out for dinner in town and needed to take my bike in for a service.

No LEZ is in place yet, and this park gets congested. If the #Edinburgh LEZ is not amended to include the park, I fear this will become the norm.
With that comes increased danger to the people enjoying the park and the wildlife residing there. 2/5

I mentioned I WFH (worked from home) last week. So it goes without saying I wasn't having to #commute.
With today's technology, more work can be done remotely, and remotely doesn't have to mean a different city or country, it can just mean a few postcodes over. 3/5

Next Milestone for #Maps is to include the last mile #commute. Indian Cities have almost all mode of local commute. We have Rikshaw, E-Rikshaw, Auto Rikshaw, E-Scooter, Vikram, Toto, Launch Boat, Ferry Boat, Tempo Traveller, Mini Bus, Local Bus, Cabs, Metro Train (subway),
Local Train and even Helicopter Service. In some places we have shared Auto Rikshaw service. Typically, 3 or 4 commuters share one Auto Rikshaw which have fixed onboarding and offboarding points. Vikram and Toto are always shared. #UX #CX #GoogleMaps #BingMaps #AI #Surveillance
