I worked from home a fair bit last week (more on that later in the thread)

On Thursday I was going out for dinner in town and needed to take my bike in for a service.

I snapped this in Holyrood. It was 17:10. The queue backed up round the corner past the Salisbury Crags. 1/5
No LEZ is in place yet, and this park gets congested. If the #Edinburgh LEZ is not amended to include the park, I fear this will become the norm.

With that comes increased danger to the people enjoying the park and the wildlife residing there. 2/5
I mentioned I WFH (worked from home) last week. So it goes without saying I wasn't having to #commute.

With today's technology, more work can be done remotely, and remotely doesn't have to mean a different city or country, it can just mean a few postcodes over. 3/5
With well-planned work, I found that flow state that's not always easy to reach in the crowd of the office.

If I got stuck, I could call my colleagues. I hosted meetings, worked with clients, and made real progress with my workload.

All while wearing these bad boys. 4/5
How many people sitting in these cars needed to commute that day? Sure some of them, but all of them? I'd take any odds they didn't.

Much like our attitudes to cars needs to start changing, so does our attitude towards work. 5/5
